Term: 4 months

Start Date: January 26, 2026

Openings: 1

We’re looking for a Corporate Communications Co-op/Intern to help build Hootsuite’s brand and tell meaningful stories about our customers, executives, and product innovation. In this role, you’ll support media relations and executive thought leadership initiatives, as well as customer advocacy programs that showcase enterprise credibility — gaining hands-on experience in both areas. This role reports to the Corporate Communications Specialist.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the creation and organization of communications materials, including executive talking points, event briefings, speaking submissions, and internal employee updates.
  • Coordinate always-on customer advocacy efforts by:
    • Searching for testimonial quotes in Gong, liaising with account owners on quote requests, and tracking all quotes, approvals, and usage in shared systems.
    • Maintaining the logo permissions list and verifying requests to use customer logos in external marketing materials.
  • Contribute to quarterly case study campaign planning and execution, including organizing assets, tracking deliverables, and supporting multi-channel launches.
  • Monitor the media alias inbox, routing inquiries to the right teams and recommending how to vet inbound opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to help surface and shape stories that matter to our customers, partners, and employees.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Strong writing skills, with a focus on accuracy, creativity, and persuasion.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, challenges, and technologies.
  • Organizational skills and comfort managing multiple responsibilities at once, with a clear sense of priorities.
  • Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and learn new tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in working with different teams, prioritizing group needs over individual ones.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Solution seeker. You’re focused on tackling new challenges, solving problems, and moving the business forward—and you don’t wait to be asked.
  • Lifelong learner. You have a growth mindset – you’re here to learn, experiment, seek, apply, and provide feedback, share what works with your team, and move on from what doesn’t.
  • Resilient adapter. In the face of change and challenges, you bring a thoughtful, calm approach, and a focus on finding the new opportunity.
  • Intentional collaborator. You build positive working relationships across the business, bringing people together to foster new opportunities and to facilitate the efficient flow of information.
  • Critical challenger. You have the trust in your team to ask difficult questions in order to get to the best end result.
  • Active communicator. You listen actively and communicate ideas and information clearly, inclusively, and proactively.
  • Integrated thinker. You look beyond your role and responsibilities to understand how your team’s work drives broader organizational goals.
  • Accountable owner. You take pride in the work you’re responsible for with a mindset of ultimate accountability and reliability for the outcomes.
  • Bar-raiser. You step up to help your team grow and succeed, even when that means going beyond what might be expected.
