Job Title: Co-op/Intern, People Team & Operations (Winter 2026 Term)

Overview:

Our People team is looking for a motivated and proactive co-op student to join us for the Winter 2026 term and assist in various functions including (but not limited to) People Operations and Facilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, learning and contributing to various HR functions while developing their skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES (could include but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with People team members to continuously improve People team processes and procedures, including documentation, communication and reporting.
  • Cover the front desk 3-4 times per week at the Vancouver office, greeting visitors and supporting general office operations.
  • Monitor and help respond to Facilities Zendesk tickets, ensuring timely responses and resolution of facilities-related requests.
  • Coordinate regular food orders for office locations and plan team lunches when required at the Vancouver office to support a positive employee experience.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of miscellaneous Facilities projects, contributing to workspace improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of mail and packages, ensuring timely processing and accurate distribution across offices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as ERGs or Social Impact with in-office events or initiatives, helping to deliver smooth, engaging experiences.
  • Maintain the job description tracker and folders, ensuring consistency and accuracy across departments.
  • Draft and issue internal employment letters related to promotions, transfers, or other job changes, as well as reference check letters. 
  • Support job change processes in Workday by entering and updating data, tracking approvals, and ensuring process compliance.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for tier-1 Workday inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate support for questions such as time off, vacation balances, and any time entry requests submitted after cutoff.
  • Complete administrative Workday tasks such as testing new features, creating job profiles, and adding employees to programs like on-call scheduling.
  • Participate in the facilitation, coordination & delivery of an HR centric project.   
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-Grad, Bachelor's or Master's program, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Ability to commute to the Vancouver office 3-4 times per week.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Proficient in Google suite, particularly Sheets and Decks.
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn.
