A Taster of what you'll be involved with.. 

You will be expected to be a pattern breaker and know the importance of providing top-quality service to each customer within Betsson Group. The Systems Engineer is expected to address each customer individually and deliver the service on the right technical level.  The Systems Engineer is driven by doing a difference every day and will take ownership of tasks and follow up on the tasks until they are solved. 

• First point of contact for IT support, infrastructure projects, local management, and vendors/supplier coordination.
• Maintain and develop an Infrastructure supporting Betsson’s business requirements
• Maintain and develop documentation and knowledge sharing in Internal IT via online tools
• Take ownership of system and service monitoring in Internal IT – focus on implementing and continued improvement
• Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures
• Contribute to architecting technical solutions to meet Betsson’s dynamic business requirements
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work within an ITIL framework
• Identify operational problems and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures
• Maintenance responsibility of all IT equipment in the office (Server room, UPS, Meeting Rooms AV Setup, Mobile Phones, etc.)
• Administration and handling of Betsson’s Infrastructure services namely Active Directory, O365, VMWare, backups, and SCCM.
• Assistance to remote teams for various network and security-related changes
• Liaise between the various departments within Betsson for IT service delivery
• Be expected to work on call and/or on shifts as per business requirements

You are Good at:  

• Systems infrastructure including servers and storage components
• Microsoft Active Directory,  Office 365, Powershell scripting, and SCCM, with preference being given to MCSA/MCSE candidates
• Virtualization technologies (VMWare), monitoring technologies, and tools
• Mobile Device Management for Windows & Mac (Intune / Kandji)
• Procedures and tools to carry out defined system and data backups and restores
• Implementation of network changes and maintenance routines
• Provision of reports and proposals for improvement to specialists, users, and managers
• Service mindset
• Willingness to go the extra mile for supporting colleagues 

Nice to Have:  

• Tertiary Education and/or a bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science
• Vendor-specific certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Veeam)
