Lyft is looking for a Creative Operations Specialist to optimize productivity in the creative process, on the marketing team. This person will maintain systems that help the creative, production, and marketing program management teams work with greater efficiency and consistency, to support the overall goals of the marketing organization. This role is a hub of operational knowledge and owns or supports project intake, resourcing, pipeline management, contractor relationships, and creative tooling. The scope of this role includes process development or management, ensuring that the creative team has access to tools they need to work effectively. This role will work cross-functionally across Lyft’s Marketing org and other internal teams, as well as with external contractors. The ideal candidate has been in a creative operations or resource management role in-house or at an advertising agency, with a strong background in creative resource management, project management and x-functional partnership. 

Responsibilities:
  • Understand disciplines and workloads of creative team members in order to best match talent with assignments and optimize utilization
  • Work with program managers to anticipate projects and priorities in the marketing roadmap
  • Lead weekly resourcing meeting with creative leads and program managers
  • Provide pertinent info to creative leadership re project requests and offer resourcing recommendations based on skills needs and availability
  • Partner with creative leadership and program managers to resolve conflicting resourcing needs by facilitating accurate info, teasing out trade offs, and landing solutions
  • Manage project management tool to update workloads and generate regular utilization reports
  • Administer PTO calendar, facilitate team PTO requests, and ensure coverage plans
  • Support onboarding new hires, creative contractors and vendors
  • Facilitate misc Creative team POs, invoicing, and contractor timesheet approvals
  • Own creative tooling needs
  • Recommend process and staffing improvements
Experience:
  • 4+ years relevant work in marketing, agency, or program management with experience collaborating with creative teams
  • Proficient understanding of the creative process for owned and paid channel campaigns
  • Strong problem solving and multitasking skills and extraordinary attention to detail
  • Interpersonal polish, discretion, ability to effectively communicate with internal teammates and leadership 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Can-do, positive attitude with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to getting work done
  • Experience with project management tooling such as Asana, Wrike, Airtable, etc.

Starting in September 2023, this role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. 

The expected range of pay for this position in the San Francisco area is $94,500 - $105,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
