The Global Enablement (GET) team
The Global Enablement Team (GET) focuses on aligning people, processes, and priorities with relevant learning, coaching, and communication delivered at the right time. This role is instrumental in equipping our channel Partners with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to promote and implement Okta’s solutions successfully. The Learning Experience Design team is an integral part of GET, responsible for designing and developing learning curriculum content for the Okta sales organization. This team collaborates closely with other GET teams to deliver sales training programs and resources that empower Okta sales employees and Partners to succeed.
About the RoleReporting to the Manager of Enablement Learning Experience, the Curriculum Designer, Product Content will play a key role in enabling internal-facing Go-to-Market sales audiences with product-focused training. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning experiences aligned with Okta’s product roadmap and new product initiatives (NPI/NPF). You will work closely with the Okta Product team, Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), Product Enablement Program Managers, and Technical Enablement teams to create accreditation and certification programs that span foundational to advanced learning levels.
This role combines instructional design expertise, content development, and a deep understanding of product enablement to support Okta’s strategic growth initiatives.
*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.
What you’ll be doing
- Product-Focused Content Development: Define, design, and develop engaging, learner-centered training programs and materials focused on product knowledge. This includes modules, eLearning content, instructor-led training, videos, job aids, and product demos. Deliver training content across multiple formats that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Comprehensive Education Program Development: Design and develop education programs from foundational to advanced levels, ensuring that content meets the diverse learning needs of internal and external audiences. Ensure that training is accessible to a global and regional sales audience.
- Accreditation and Certification Programs: Develop product-focused certification and accreditation programs that validate learner proficiency in understanding product features, benefits, and value propositions. Track and measure the success of these programs and continually refine them to meet evolving product and business needs.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Product, Sales, Engineer and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product features, capabilities, and sales strategy.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Create engaging, interactive, and impactful learning materials using adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
- Product Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to stay aligned with the product roadmap and upcoming releases to create relevant, timely, and impactful training content that drives both sales performance and product adoption.
What you’ll bring to the role & what we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in enablement, instructional design, or training development, with a focus on product-related content.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning experiences.
- Experience developing and managing accreditation or certification programs.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into accessible, engaging content.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities while delivering high-quality results on time.
- Proficiency in tools including Articulate Rise & Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia or Adobe Premiere video design tools, and Google Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Additional experience that we value
- Experience developing learning solutions for a global, matrixed organization with diverse customer personas, use cases, and industries.
- Knowledge of performance metrics and ROI measurement techniques for learning and development programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Okta’s solutions or Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
- Experience in creating learning experiences for international audiences, adapting content for different cultures and regions.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$114,000—$172,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Full-Time Okta employee!
