Role Description As an Insights Analyst, you will be part of the Customer Analytics team which is tasked with encouraging and enabling customer centric decisions. As an Insights Analyst you are responsible for building a foundational understanding of our customers’ needs and perceptions and to guide decision-making. By defining, developing, analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging customer metrics, this role supports and advances the company’s customer-centric vision to improve CX from beginning to end.   Your focus will be on providing actionable insights to partners through a deep understanding of consumer behaviors with applied analytics techniques and business insights. This role isn’t just about performing analytics - it’s also about communicating insights to the business, telling a story with data that answers the “why” as well as the “what”.    This is an individual contributor role that requires exceptional analytical skills, bias toward action, strong collaboration and communication skills and a passion for customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders acting as their point of contact in Customer Analytics. You will leverage your relationships to become a valued thought partner and SME for data in your area. 
  • You will leverage your analytical skills to develop and analyze qualitative and quantitative research and craft clear actionable insights and make recommendations to our stakeholders
  • You will develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and identify opportunities for enhancements. You will drive weekly and monthly KPI reviews with stakeholders to promote operational rigor. 
  • You will translate complex concepts into implications for the business via excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You will partner with stakeholders providing analytical insights to drive strategic projects forward and perform ad hoc analyses on critical business issues
  • You will understand what matters most and prioritize ruthlessly
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in a data-centric role
  • Significant experience working with large amounts of data (SQL) and a deep understanding of statistical analysis, common quantitative techniques like regression and experiment design
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to distill copious amounts of data (qualitative, quantitative, secondary, etc.) into an insightful story with actionable recommendations for the business
  • Experience in data visualization tools and with querying large data lakes (e.g. Databricks)
  • Proven track record of being able to drive work independently and proactively engage with business stakeholders with minimal direction
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work cross functionally with stakeholders in a globally distributed team 
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines amid shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors or above in quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
  • Experience with Tableau, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Experience with Python/R and git
  • Experience with surveys (design, creation, maintenance, analysis)

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). 

If you are assessed at the IC3 level, below are the current Salary/OTE ranges (Subject to change):C$98,600 - C$116,000 - C$133,400 

If you are assessed at the IC4 level, below are the current Salary/OTE ranges (Subject to change):C$113,100 - C$133,000 - C$153,000
