Lyft is looking for a Data Analyst for Lyft’s Fleets and Driver Operations Business Analytics team. This team provides support on a wide range of projects that can be technically or operationally focused across subject matters such as niche Fleets within Lyft’s driver supply pool & Regulatory Operations. In this role, you’ll investigate issues, influence business decisions with data and build reporting/tools to keep our business running smoothly. The ideal candidate -  You have technical skills, a business-oriented mindset, are a problem solver and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with business partners to manage performance, create operational rigor and proactively seek ways to improve the business
  • Build reporting/dashboards w/ visualizations to develop insightful & actionable information that supports decision making (this requires using SQL + Gsheets in your day-to-day)
  • Support multiple initiatives & stakeholders at once, requiring the ability to prioritize based on expected business outcomes
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in a business analytics role for a complex business
  • Proficient in SQL and Google Sheets / Excel 
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization (ideally within the tech industry)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to work cross functionally
  • Operationally-focused, process-oriented, data-driven, and simply able to get stuff done
  • Ability to communicate clearly & write thorough, scalable and clear documentation
  • Track record in driving influence within the business
  • Previous experience in P&L/financial models is a plus

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto, CA area is $76,000-$95,000 CAD. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
