YOUR MISSION We are hiring a Data Team Lead to support the data leadership by managing a small team of individuals. As a leader, you will work closely with business stakeholders and use your quantitative background to lead and mentor other Data Analysts, diving into large datasets to guide decision-making. You will also work with data engineers to develop a scalable data infrastructure. If you enjoy leading teams that build models and create analytical tools, understanding processes, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization, and getting your hands dirty we’re looking for someone like you!   THE JOURNEY

• Build robust relationships with stakeholders as a strategic and supportive link between the technology, business, and product
• Translate business questions and hypotheses into analysis and actionable insights
• Drive clarity and solve ambiguity using data-driven approaches
• Manage not only projects within your scope, but at cluster/BU and even company level
• Manage senior and/or cross-teams stakeholders in communicating the needs and areas of improvements, the approach towards the change, and sharing the delivery roadmaps & plan
• Develop and maintain scalable and self-service visualization tools and storytelling dashboards
• Help more junior members to better manage their stakeholders, projects and expectations
• Recognize opportunities to help more junior members grow and delegate projects to them while supporting/accompanying along the way

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Between 1-2  years of experience in a similar role, leading a small team of Data Analysts/ Data Engineers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You can work cross-functionally with leaders in Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to unlock new opportunities
• Excellent SQL skills
• Knowledge of data management using relational and non-relational databases
• Solid proficiency in statistical programming (Python) and experience working with popular tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Jupyter/iPython notebooks
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau and Looker
• Experience with the application of statistical modeling and advanced analytics to provide product-shaping insights
• Excellent spoken and written English
