YOUR MISSION

To help us along this path, we are looking for passionate and experienced people to join our IT help desk team in Barcelona.Our help desk team is a core function of the IT organization and a key contributor in providing high-quality production support for our business-critical IT systems. We seek a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our global team as an IT Team Lead.

You will be responsible for finding and overseeing a diverse team of providers spanning 19 countries, ensuring the timely delivery of IT services with excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently and maintain high-quality standards. You will play a crucial role in process design, budget review, task assignment, and fostering a positive work environment within the local teams.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead and supervise a team of providers across 19 countries to ensure the punctual delivery of IT services, including responsibilities such as leading projects, hiring, onboarding, task assignments, etc;
  • Engage in discussions with providers to address concerns, provide feedback, and foster collaboration;
  • Review and manage the budget allocated, ensuring optimal resource utilization;
  • Establish and follow SLO and KPI to maintain the IT service;
  • Communicate change towards end users;
  • Design and implement processes to streamline IT service delivery and improve efficiency;
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings to assess performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Travel to various locations as needed to assess on-site operations and provide support;
  • Provide remote oversight and guidance to part-time providers, ensuring alignment with team objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience in the field;
  • Experienced in a leadership role, preferably in IT service delivery or a related field;
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse team spread across multiple countries;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to various locations for on-site assessments and team management;
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical mindset.Individuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
