The Deal Desk Manager is a critical member of the Revenue & Operations organization, reporting into the Director of Deal Desk and Order Management. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is energized by critical thinking and team collaboration.  This is a highly visible position within the company and you will work collaboratively across several different functions including, sales, legal, finance, product and revenue to ensure deals are structured and 100% compliant with Vimeo’s revenue recognition and internal deal requirements.

In this role you will manage the Quote to invoice process, supporting sales along the way through their deal cycle.  Your day to day focus will be on assessing discounting against negotiables, working through complex deal types for validation and contractual structure, and supporting ad-hoc assistance that the field needs to land their deals. Your secondary focus will be focused enablement for your colleagues, to the field and assisting with system and process enhancement projects in an ever-evolving Saas business. Lastly, there will be a requirement to deliver quarterly analytic reporting on the team functionality and success measurements to prioritize enhancement projects and enablement needs.  This role serves as a critical piece in resource alignment and deal compliance. It’s imperative for this individual to closely partner and align with the field in order to keep up the demands of a fast growing and globally expanding company.

What you’ll do:
  • Review discounting and custom terms and approve on behalf of the business
  • Manage order validation on complex deal types
  • Host office hours, trainings,  and answer requests from the field 
  • Cross-train and support teammates on new processes
  • Manage the end of month cadence and close in partnership with revenue operations and finance
  • Analyze quarterly team performance and deal volume
  • Participate in efforts to revamp and optimize Deal Desk onboarding and training/enablement programs.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
  • 2-5 years in deal desk, sales operations, finance or similarly related roles with a software or technology company, ideally within Enterprise Saas with subscription-based licensing
  • High level of expertise with Salesforce.com CRM and CPQ or other closely related technologies
  • Experience with both a Direct and Indirect (channel) business model a plus
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented and analytical with strong organizational skills
  • Extremely strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to work extended hours during end of month and quarters

Targeted Base Salary Range: $74,700 to $114,500

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
