Private Division has future unannounced projects in development with Moon Studios, Yellow Brick Games, Wētā Workshop, Game Freak, and other esteemed independent developers. The Label publishes the physical retail edition of Hades from Supergiant Games on PlayStation® and Xbox consoles. Private Division continues to build its internal studio capacity, with Roll7 and Intercept Games as internal developers for the Label. The Challenge

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us continue building world class build and deployment infrastructure for both internal and external partners.  The best candidate is someone who interacts with end users with empathy, humility, and authenticity.

As a DevOps Engineer on our team you will be working with both internal and external parties to facilitate automated builds,  deployments, and monitoring of games, games infrastructure, and various other automation.  You will need to be comfortable with scripting languages for various platforms.  Having a modular, systems oriented mindset with an eye towards code reuse will be invaluable. 

What You'll Take On

  • Collaborate with a remote team on the dynamic needs of build and deployment pipelines.
  •  Communicate with both internal and external partners to find, plan, build, and deliver on their unique requirements.
  •  Build, Deploy, and Maintain infrastructure to the cloud for use by partners around the globe. 

What You Bring

  • Intermediate experience in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, Powershell, or similar
  • Intermediate experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or similar
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or CircleCI
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity and Unreal
  • Clear communication and active listening skills with the ability to provide direct and constructive feedback
  • A positive and collaborative attitude 

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Monitoring and Logging tools such as Grafana and CloudWatch

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $67,100.00 and $100,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
