The Marketing Team at Yext is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the strategy and execution of email, landing pages, and other digital assets to support global campaigns. You will play a critical role in ensuring that we provide best-in-class digital experiences for our customers.

The ideal candidate is an expert in email marketing best practices, experienced with marketing automation systems, has attention to detail, loves efficiency, and is motivated to build a career in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This person should be highly organized, work well within ambiguity, communicate well, and be results-oriented. This role requires the ability to build creative solutions and see around corners to achieve program goals.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with global and regional campaign managers to understand their channel needs, gather campaign and document requirements, and build assets within Marketo.
  • Work closely with field marketing and corporate events teams to develop digital assets such as emails and landing pages that amplify event presence, increase registrations, and drive post-event engagement.
  • Ensure all email programs incorporate best practices and provide the best experience for the customer while meeting program objectives.
  • Partner with collaborators on campaign targeting and audience segmentation requirements
  • Generate and communicate weekly and monthly reports to identify trends and drive change to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our email marketing programs and processes.
  • Maintain company brand through email design and content alongside the corporate brand team.
  • Upload acquired target lists, including lists from events, content syndication, and data purchases, while maintaining marketing database hygiene.
  • Test & QA all campaigns to ensure leads that interact with our marketing campaigns flow through Marketo and Salesforce correctly. Work closely with our Operations team as necessary to ensure leads are appropriately recorded.
  • Build Sales email templates as requested.
  • Help strategize opportunities to evolve email marketing tactics based on your prior email marketing experience.
  • Ensure the highest quality delivery of all assets, including working with editorial to proofread
  • Continuously A/B test to improve results on all activities
  • Using past email marketing experience to analyze data and improve campaign performance.

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in the role or domain (email marketing, digital marketing)
  • Proficient in Marketo and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience with Marketing Automation Platforms, audience segmentation, all types of email/program templates, and reporting on email performance.
  • Knowledgeable in email and database compliance, including CAN-SPAM & GDPR.
  • Experienced in defining scope and schedule while flexible in accommodating scope changes, interruptions
  • Self-motivated, effective communicator, diligent with the ability to operate with minimal direction
  • Project management skills and the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities while remaining focused on goals
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools (ie. Asana) is a plus
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, project management, and analysis
  • Eager to learn new concepts, particularly related to systems, processes, and tools
