We are looking for a Director of Corporate Communications and Employer Brand to lead the strategy and execution of these strategic functions. This role will report to our Chief People Officer.
We are looking for a Director, APJ Sales Development, reporting to AVP MIR & SVP APAC
This role is a Leadership role in the Marketing Organization responsible for leading the APAC Sales Development division focused on generating qualified meetings through both inbound & outbound activities. These activities include account based marketing and multi-threading for the purpose of developing a pipeline for both new sales, upsells, and cross-sells for our direct business.
As a Director, for Sales Development - APAC at Similarweb you will:
- Own the overall pipeline development performance of the MIRs (inbound SDR) & outbound SDRs based in Singapore & Japan
- Responsible for managing managers and individual contributors SDR / MIR
- Collaborate with other key internal business partners on the development of top of funnel strategies to optimize for the inbound team, and outbound program for outbound team
- Be responsible for the hiring, training, coaching, and development of the APAC team to help them master the skills across sales development including: Cold-calling, emailing, identifying our ideal customer profile and personas.
- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for process improvements with the aim of increased productivity and efficiency on the team
- Managing new sales pipeline targets and full funnel activities monitoring, reporting and optimization for both MIR & SDR
What does the ideal candidate look like:
- 5+ years managing Sales Development Reps (inbound & outbound) & managers with a history of achieving pipeline/opportunity goals
- 5+ years in prospecting and outbound sales activities, with time spent focusing on APAC region
- 5+ years in SaaS Sales or Sales development areas
- Natural leader, collaborator and team player - you’ll have the passion and ability to lead a team of people and be able to inspire your direct team and others around you
- Ready to tackle any challenge or problem that may come your way and be solutions oriented
- Track Record in developing top talent for other areas of the business
- Analytical Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in Sales in APAC region
