THE WORK:

Ripple is seeking an experienced and strategic leader who is dedicated to execution for leading the planning and implementation of M&A integrations. This role sits within the Strategic Initiatives team and will lead cross-functional efforts to integrate acquired companies in a way that accelerates product and market outcomes, preserves talent and culture, and enhances return on investment. You will work closely with executive partners - including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, People, and GTM leaders - to develop integration strategies grounded in deal rationale, and ensure successful execution from signing through post-close.Reporting to our VP, Strategic Initiatives, the Director of M&A Integration operates as an individual contributor in the team. You’re at your best in a fast-changing environment with plenty of ambiguity and interesting, challenging problems to tackle.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Serve as the integration lead for acquisitions, partnering with business leads and functional owners to translate deal rationale into an actionable integration strategy.
  • Define and drive integration priorities, workstreams, and timelines across all phases: pre-sign diligence, signing-to-close planning, and post-close execution.
  • Craft integration plans with functional leaders, align executives on priorities, and anticipate obstacles.
  • Nurture strong cross-functional relationships to align teams, surface risks and opportunities early, and drive coordinated execution across workstreams.
  • Lead cross-functional working teams, facilitate efficient decision-making, manage risks and interdependencies, and ensure delivery against integration objectives.
  • Ensure acquired teams are set up for success - supporting onboarding, team structure, cultural alignment, and retention of key talent.
  • Deliver high-quality, executive-ready communication to maintain alignment, highlight progress, and advance issues as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10–15 years of experience in program management or corporate development, with a minimum of 5 years leading M&A integrations end-to-end - ideally within B2B or FinTech environments.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional integration for sophisticated deals (e.g., product tuck-ins, geographic expansion, acqui-hires).
  • Extensive experience leading both pre-sign diligence and post-close integration, with a strong grasp of how early insights should advise integration strategy and how integration plans should guide diligence priorities.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level strategic goals into clear execution plans, especially in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership and navigating multiple collaborator perspectives.
  • Deep experience aligning product, tech, GTM, and back-office functions to deliver cohesive, high-impact integrations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and change leadership skills, with a consistent track record to lead by influence across cross-functional teams and senior partners.
