YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As the Director of Central Operations, you will lead our Central Operations team and take full responsibility for advancing operational excellence and unit economics across all field- and warehouse operations worldwide. You will also play a crucial role in the leadership team of our operations organisation, serving as a role model for operational excellence and change management across the organisation. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Implementing and enhancing standardised processes and procedures to ensure operational excellence in our field- and warehouse operations.
• Overseeing global inventory management (vehicles, spare parts, batteries) and contributing to strategic enhancements to prolong vehicle lifecycles and minimise waste.
• Continuing to evolve warehouse design, workflow, and operational setup, while identifying and applying local best practices globally.
• Developing precise and actionable forecasting tools for local staffing.
• Holding overall responsibility for data within your domain, driving continuous improvement in global operational KPIs (e.g., repair activity/hour), and leading the team toward data-driven decision-making.
• Managing the team's budget, performance, and outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and nurturing a world-class central operations team.
• Maintaining close collaboration with other members of the operations organisation leadership team and stakeholders to contribute to the global strategy and raise standards throughout the organisation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are searching for a seasoned leader and operational excellence expert with the ability to drive change and manage multiple projects autonomously in a dynamic environment. In addition to proficiency in English, we believe the ideal candidate possesses:

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant field.
• Over a decade of experience in spearheading the development of operational excellence.
• Experience in driving continuous improvements, and developing and implementing standard operating procedures 
• Demonstrated expertise in people management.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach.
• A proven ability to prioritise, drive processes, and manage stakeholders.
