Position Description: Okta is looking for a Partner and Alliances Leader with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our UK/I, BENELUX and Nordics Partner business. 

At Okta, we’re on a journey to build partnerships into everything we do. This role represents a key leadership position for our largest regions in EMEA, and will be the figurehead for driving this transformation internally within Okta, and externally with our partner community.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader that thrives in a high paced, rapidly changing environment. They will have experience and relationships across Global and Regional System Integrators, Cloud providers, tech alliances, and major resellers. 

The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability in building new GTMs with partners, from business planning, to operational leadership and ultimately deal management - with the ability to build relationships at every level within the partner. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of high performing partner managers
  • Develop a world-class ecosystem strategy for the region
  • Build and execute mutual business plans with focus partners across global and regional system integrators, hyperscalers, technology alliances and major resellers
  • Identify new areas of opportunity to grow partner sourced and influenced business across the region
  • Forecasting of ecosystem revenue to regional field leadership
  • With our partners, define tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities
  • Work cross functionally to deepen partner involvement across all areas of Okta - from field sales to engineering and product development. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Seasoned revenue generation track record driving partner sourced and influenced sales within the UK, BENELUX and Nordics Regional Alliances partner ecosystem
  • Strong motivation, resilience and change management experience
  • Proven history of exceeding channel sales revenue targets
  • Ability to formulate a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan
  • Comfortable with weekly travel to partners as necessary
  • Proven experience of high-tech business development or alliances at a SaaS start up, successfully implementing channel/field alliances strategy to drive dramatically increased sales
