We’re looking for a Sales Director, Hispanic LATAM to lead our monetization efforts for the region. Reporting to the LATAM Managing Director, you'll be responsible for building Pinterest’s business in one of the fastest growing markets. You will be working closely with cross-functional partners to drive business results for our clients while delivering growth. You will be managing a team of senior sellers and be part of the LATAM Senior Leadership team. You will be representing Pinterest externally and be our voice in the industry on relevant topics.

This is a full-time position based in Mexico and our office in CDMX.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution Spanish Latin America (SPLA) at Pinterest
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for in SPLA
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a market strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Build on established relationships and develop new relationships with industry CEOs, CMOs, and other key executive decision-makers and industry associations
  • Shape the future of our SPLA eam by building, training and motivating a high performing, diverse sales team based on an inclusive, positive culture
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyze data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client’s business through Pinterest solutions
  • As part of our LATAM leadership team, contribute to the success of the region through collaborating across countries and organizations 
  • Act as an external spokesperson and representative of the business and evangelize our brand in SPLA
  • Be one of the CDMX site leads, collaborate with other XFN leaders  to build office culture and healthy engagement

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry with relevant management experience 
  • Strong team player with experience in successfully leading marketing or sales teams 
  • Ability to work with executive level business and marketing leaders within client organizations 
  • Established industry and client relationships from Marketing Director and above
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Track record in achieving or exceeding business and revenue goals
  • Ability to interface with product and engineering to synthesize customer needs and feedback
