About Pinterest:

Millions of people across the world come to Pinterest to find new ideas every day. It’s where they get inspiration, dream about new possibilities and plan for what matters most. Our mission is to help those people find their inspiration and create a life they love. In your role, you’ll be challenged to take on work that upholds this mission and pushes Pinterest forward. You’ll grow as a person and leader in your field, all the while helping Pinners make their lives better in the positive corner of the internet.

Creating a life you love also means finding a career that celebrates the unique perspectives and experiences that you bring. As you read through the expectations of the position, consider how your skills and experiences may complement the responsibilities of the role. We encourage you to think through your relevant and transferable skills from prior experiences.

Our new progressive work model is called PinFlex, a term that’s uniquely Pinterest to describe our flexible approach to living and working. Visit our PinFlex landing page to learn more.

We’re looking for a strategic, collaborative, and hands-on leader to own and support complex and critical initiatives within Pinterest’s Office of the CEO. This will be a dynamic role operating in a dynamic environment to support the needs of the CEO and special projects across the company. You’ll be asked to bring clarity to ambiguous questions, provide end-to-end project management leadership and support, move multiple priorities forward at once, manage wide-ranging stakeholders across the company, and uphold the highest standards of quality in your work.

The ideal candidate has a passion for Pinterest’s mission and a strong sense of ownership in their work. This role reports to the Chief of Staff to the CEO and VP, Strategic Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects that advance key company priorities, take ownership of emerging opportunities and challenges, and engage external stakeholders.
  • As part of the Office of the CEO, anticipate and respond to the CEO’s needs relative to upcoming meetings and events, coordinating and managing briefing materials and talking points with teams across the organization; ensure follow-through of critical action items.
  • Conduct ad hoc research and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) on important initiatives facing the CEO and the company, working effectively with internal teams and leveraging external resources.
  • Triage the Office of the CEO’s workflow — prioritizing, delegating, and completing work on behalf of the Office and the CEO.
  • Some travel as needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience, ideally in high-growth technology companies.
  • Blend of strong business judgment, empathy, attention to detail, and grace under pressure.
  • Project management experience on an international scale, providing strategic leadership for multiple programs simultaneously in a cross-functional business.
  • Experience in building trusted advisor relationships and influencing others (including C-level executives). Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information, acting as a trustworthy liaison between teams and leadership across the company.
  • Ability navigating extreme ambiguity, responding adeptly to rapidly changing priorities, and staying calm and organized during high-stress moments.
  • Superior organizational skills and commitment to high-quality work product.
