Role Description Dropbox is a leading global collaboration platform transforming how people work together. With over 700 million users, Dropbox is on a mission to unleash the world's creative energy by designing a more enlightened way of working.   We are seeking an experienced Product Leader to run the development of new product initiatives at Dropbox. This individual will join the OCEO (Office of the CEO) team and be responsible for the company's product incubator that explores new bets and creates new products to help customers be more productive at work.   The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating and launching products from scratch (bonus points if ex-founder!), a solid product vision and execution track record, and an obsession with customers and ownership while thriving in zero-to-one environments with high ambiguity and autonomy. Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new product initiatives, ensuring alignment with Dropbox's overall business objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing cross-functional team, including engineering, product, and design professionals, that embodies Dropbox's values, enjoys working together, and takes pride in building outstanding products.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company, including executive leadership, to ensure successful deployment and adoption of those products.
  • Lead the discovery, definition, and prioritization of product requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Establish and track success metrics and key performance indicators to measure the impact and effectiveness of those new products.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the productivity space.
  • Launch new products externally to customers after successfully testing the product and finding product-market-fit, and iterate on the product to increase its effectiveness and expand its value proposition.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative software products.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and proven ability to create new products from scratch, achieve stretch goals in an innovative, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated experience in turning. ambiguous problems and big ideas into a product strategy and executing it flawlessly with the right balance of user and business impact and short- and long-term impact.
  • Passion for building products that evoke joy, delight, and trust in customers, and a deep commitment to product craft and practice.
  • Strategic product thinker with a track record of identifying new opportunities in a changing technical and market landscape.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers at scale.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to convey clarity, salience, and urgency with teams, partners, and executives. Skilled at building consensus, listening well, and driving hard decisions. Adept at maintaining a fast pace, taking responsibility for setbacks, and sharing praise with the team. People love working with you.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent at communication; capable of rallying a team around the same cause and act as an evangelist for the product
Total Rewards

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $222,700 - $262,000 - $301,300.• US Zone 2: $200,400 - $235,800 - $271,200.• US Zone 3: $178,200 - $209,600 - $241,000. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro), Washington DC metro and West Virginia (DC metro)• US Zone 3: All other US locations
