About the RoleCloudflare is looking for a EMEA Marketing & Events Manager, who is dynamic, motivated, creative, analytical and has bags of positive energy. The right candidate will join the EMEA Events Center of Excellence team to help support and deliver events across the region that generate leads from new prospects and expansion accounts and help grow marketing pipeline dollars.

This is a broad and challenging role within the EMEA Marketing team where you will support the launch and management of a series of events campaigns – including its contract negotiation, promotion, team coordination, booth build/execution until its closure to ensure sales follow up and event ROI is met. You have a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, strong project management skills and the ability to think strategically and orchestrate many moving parts.

The right candidate will learn first hand how the sales process works, how to deliver strategic marketing activities that align with bold goals and how to collaborate with various departments to ensure success. Perfect for any ambitious marketer looking to start their career in Marketing. 

Other languages are a plus since you will be supporting different regions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional team members (Design, Sales, Marketing, Localization, Product) to orchestrate high-impact integrated online marketing campaigns.
  • Define campaign objectives and enable effective reporting, target audiences, segment leads, and create marketing assets (website offers, email templates, landing pages, banners, etc.) to execute the campaign.
  • Help evaluate and manage local vendors to support EMEA events 
  • Plan, promote, and host marketing events (trade shows, conferences, meetups, breakfast briefings, digital events) across the region that capture prospects and help move them into customers as well as cross sell into the customer base.
  • Ongoing project management of campaign execution across Marketo and Salesforce, including data hygiene. Manage campaigns timeline, ROI, and data-driven improvements through optimization.
  • Communicate campaign results to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Very good proficiency in English
  • Based in London, UK or Lisbon, Portugal
  • Motivated, positive and above all a team player
  • Analytically inclined, exceptional organizational skills, with rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and strong organisation skills
  • Extreme curiosity

Bonus points

  • Experience with Events Marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Contentful, Eloqua (or other marketing automation tool)
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Hands-on experience rewriting translated titles/descriptions (webinars, events) to make them compelling
  • Skills in outreach messaging and content creation
  • Prior internship experience in a high growth company in the SaaS, security, or network space, combined with knowledge of how the Internet works is a plus
  • Language skills would be considered a plus.
