Engagement & CRM Manager

What you'll do:
- Lead Engagement Initiatives: Drive engagement initiatives aimed at increasing merchant TPV and net revenue, preventing churn, promoting bank product adoption, and executing upselling strategies
- Strategic Planning: Define and execute the overarching strategy for engagement initiatives in alignment with SumUp's business objectives and market trends
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor three distinct micro-teams, including the Retention Cell, CRM, and Engagement Intelligence, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Retention Cell Management: Oversee the Retention Cell, defining strategies for contacting churned or at-risk merchants, designing variable compensation schemes, and managing the P&L to drive profitability
- CRM Prioritization: Direct the CRM team in prioritizing critical initiatives, such as adoption, engagement, and anti-churn strategies, and negotiate priorities with key stakeholders across the organization
- Engagement Intelligence Collaboration: Work closely with the data team to identify merchants at risk of churn, develop predictive models, and measure KPIs related to adoption and engagement initiatives
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, including product, marketing, sales, and finance, to identify opportunities, drive experiments, and ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives
- Customer Feedback Integration: Translate customer feedback collected from engagement initiatives and experiments into actionable insights for product development and improvement
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of engagement initiatives, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, successes, and challenges
- Continuous Improvement: Constantly assess and iterate on engagement strategies based on data-driven insights, industry best practices, and feedback from stakeholders, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation
