What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is seeking an AIML engineering intern who is willing to learn and apply the rapidly evolving best practices in observability and monitoring protocols and best practices to suggest and enhance our existing log analysis offering. We are looking for people with a very technical background in software development across multiple technology stacks in the development of highly scalable software services and systems.

What you’ll be doing…

• Understand existing OTel implementation and other related open standards.
• Review and capture existing features/configurations provided by existing collectors.
• Analysis and Definition of what needs to be done to meet or exceed existing requirements of our old collectors, enhance the implementation for future proofing and set up testing environments for auto CI/CD.

Qualities you possess…

• Enrolled in Computer Science or related degree.
• Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and good programming/coding skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting and learn/practice AGILE software development.
