Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.

 

What you’ll do

Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Clinical & Financial domain.

You will be part of and lead a completely new team that is now in the making: In this  team, your main scope will be online payment systems. Together with the team, your goal will be to create a whole new platform for Billing, which will be used by practitioners in every country Doctolib is!  You will focus on several bricks, introducing all the necessary tools to share the bill and provide both patients and practitioners with all the necessary documentation for every payment  sent and collected. This is a great chance for you to manage an international team, whose features will impact all of the Doctolib products in multiple countries! 

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Being directly in charge of a team of full-stack developers;
• Managing and grow the performance and career of your team;
• Ensuring business objectives are met as a team, by driving performance of each team member;
• Empower your team to build better products;
• Setting the roadmingap for your team, and be the end-to-end owner of the team’s production, quality, and delivery;
• Participating in code reviews and be hands-on if required;
• Leading cross functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team;
• Partnering with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.

• Have solid experience leading and managing an engineering team;
• Are eager to be hands on with our stack: we do use React, Ruby on Rails and Java (and we are happy to help you ramp up);
• You understand the value of testing your code;
• Have the ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues;
• Have proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products;
• Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team
