As Engineering Manager of the Web and API Performance teams, you will lead, coach and grow 2x teams that ship optimizations for core Pinterest user experiences and enable every developer to protect and optimize the product for increased user engagement. You’ll define a roadmap, drive technical excellence and collaborate with other teams across engineering to deliver more performant and engaging Pinterest experiences.

What you’ll do:

  • Create plans (roadmap/milestones/sprints) that deliver big-leap improvements to app performance for users.
  • Lead/Grow/Coach engineers on your team, help them develop new skills/experiences, advance their careers.
  • Support the team and individuals to enable them to hit their goals.
  • Work across engineering teams to understand needs and help enable every developer to contribute to performance.
  • Provide visibility into the team’s impact to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of API technologies (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
  • Has collaborated with engineers across different teams.
  • Designed/Built Data and/or Tools for developers.
