Your role:

We’re looking for a strong communicator to join our MarComms team, responsible for helping shape how we tell our story to the outside world. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in building our brand through contributing to and executing on experiential marketing and communications projects (airshows, exhibitions, industry conferences, customer events and Lilium hosted events).

You have a knack for storytelling and leverage this to support the physical manifestation of the brand at major international exhibitions and events as well as content and messaging for executive speaking opportunities.

Your aim is to support the captivation in real life of a wide set of stakeholders from investors to technical aerospace audiences and potential commercial partners, to local communities and customers.

You will report directly to the Experiential Marketing & Communications Lead and work closely with the rest of the comms team under the lead of the VP Communications.

Your Day to Day:

  • Events: Support Experiential Marketing and Comms Lead on external events i.e. airshow participation owning financial monitoring and supplier engagement as well as supporting asset logistics
  • Storytelling: Working closely with Experiential Marketing and Comms Lead and VP Comms on overarching live comms and marketing storytelling.
  • Speaking opportunities: Support the wider Lilium team with their external communications including assessing opportunities and follow up support and database management.
  • Executive Comms: Facilitate executive engagement on conferences including working with in-house creative team to support executive speaking engagement content creation.
  • Tracking and reporting: Work with PMO to maintain an effective process for upcoming events and assure the comprehensive overview of events / conferences relevant for the business

Your profile:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills (ppt)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to build relationships with various levels and stakeholders both internal and external and connect the dots easily
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Target-oriented, driven workstyle with creative problem-solving skills required
  • Professional experience in events management and/or conferences
  • Strong hands-on mentality and a proactive approach
  • Resilient and bale to react quickly to changing requirements and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel (20% of time)
  • Hybrid workplace
  • Fluent English is a prerequisite / German or any other language will be beneficial
