We’re looking for a driven Territory Manager to grow our Field Sales presence in Cologne and the surrounding region by managing and developing our network of self-employed commission-based Field Sales Consultants (FSCs). You’ll be the go-to person for our freelancers — ensuring they are well-equipped, motivated, and achieving results — while also actively selling in the field to understand the market first-hand.

Your Mission:
  • Drive sales in the field: Actively sell SumUp’s POS and card readers to small businesses to build strong market knowledge.

  • Grow and manage the freelancer network: Recruit, onboard, and support self-employed Field Sales Consultants in your region.

  • Enable success: Provide training, guidance, and regular feedback to help FSCs maximise their sales performance.

  • Own your territory: Develop local strategies to increase brand visibility and market penetration.

  • Analyse and optimise: Monitor KPIs, track performance, and share market insights with HQ to shape future strategy.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has a proven track record in field sales and direct selling.

  • Understands how to work with freelancers, commission-based sellers, or similar independent networks.

  • Is entrepreneurial, results-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

  • Knows how to connect with small business owners and understands their needs.

  • Is data-driven, comfortable working with CRMs and sales tools.
