📣  A bit about the role.

We’re looking for a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join our squad at an exciting time in our hyper-growth journey with further international expansion on the horizon. This role would suit a proactive candidate who is ready to step up in their career, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to be part of a business where they can have a tangible positive impact.

This role will be working within the Core Finance team and will be heavily involved in all key accounting and reporting activities, with a focus on effective financial management and ensuring a robust control environment that allows us to scale sustainably.

This role will report into our Head of Finance but will work closely with a wider range of stakeholders across the business.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with some work-from-home days each week. We expect you to spend a minimum of 3 days at the Box Office in White City - London, with the possibility of occasional travel to other locations as your role evolves. What you’ll do:

• Be given a high level of responsibility from day one for the delivery of internal and external reporting.
• Proactively identify & mitigate key financial risks and be tasked with exploring ways of mitigating them.
• Lead our period close work across the business, managing deadlines and ensuring accurate reporting.  
• Be at the forefront of our international expansion plans.
• Key person for Finance systems improvements as the business continues to scale and grow.
• Work with different business stakeholders to help explore and understand deviations from budget and provide commercial support.
• Look to help improve our current processes and ways of working.

👋  A bit about you. 

• 2+ years CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
• Experience of working in audit environment / Big 4 would be advantageous.
• Strong Financial control and reporting background from within a commercial context
• A proactive and self-starter attitude towards work
• Great at managing change, adapting to new situations & solving problems on the fly.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to present financial information to a variety of different stakeholders.
• Strong excel skills, experience with SAP B1 would be desirable.
