This exciting opportunity will allow you to work independently while collaborating with our Singapore Finance team and reporting directly to the Senior Finance Director.

You're a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our APAC finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of our financial processes across the region while adhering to IFRS and local statutory requirements. You will lead statutory reporting, manage monthly GL closings, oversee balance sheet activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple markets. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing, international organization.

Here’s where you come in...

  • Standardize accounting procedures and oversee accounting practices across APAC markets.
  • Lead statutory reporting processes across APAC, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage the monthly GL closing process and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct monthly WIP/Deferred balances check with FinOps to check the accuracy of the revenue recognition
  • Oversee the accuracy of balance sheet reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly footnote disclosures.
  • Conduct periodic balance sheet review updates with Finance partners.
  • Oversee credit control for both AR and AP, ensuring efficient and effective management of receivables and payables.
  • Review AR, AP, and inter-company activities; prepare intercompany reconciliations and statements in collaboration with Finance partners.
  • Handle treasury requirements, including bank account funding, and oversee the payment approval process.
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and prepare financial statements, working papers, and account analyses.
  • Monthly Management pack presentation to country manager leads
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory tax reports (GST/VAT, WHT, etc.).
  • Ensure all financial reporting complies with company policies, IFRS, and local standards.
  • Able to manage a small team located onsite and offsite 

We treasure personality and experience yet we do know that these qualifications lead to what WE KNOW as a success.

  • Over 8 years of solid accounting experience, preferably within the APAC region, with a background in shared services.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work comfortably with large data sets.
  • Experience with internal/external auditing, including preparing supporting documentation, month end closing.
  • Exposure to APAC markets such as Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, or the Philippines is a significant plus.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Experience in the advertising/marketing industry is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to train and mentor others while being open to ongoing personal development.
  • Agency background is a plus
