Financial Analyst

Intelex is looking for a Financial Analyst for its global EHS software business! Financial Analyst will work with the Financial Reporting Team. Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Prepare various balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
  • Prepare revenue reconciliations and related journal entries.
  • Prepare various month end journal entries related to Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (revaluation + reclass entries), lease expenses, depreciation, intercompany expenses, foreign currency revaluations.
  • Compile parent company reporting deliverables (revenue + other P/L statistics files).
  • Provide support in production of monthly & annual consolidated financial documents.
  • Provided support in tax submissions (Sales tax, corporate tax) and coordinate with the tax team on related matters.
  • Coordinate with internal audits and control compliances.
  • Handle other tasks as required.
Organizational Alignment:
  • Reports to the Controller.
  • Collaborate with local Finance team members.
  • Coordinate with teams from other group operating companies and corporate headquarter.
Skills & Work traits:
  • Strong financial skill and analytical ability.
  • Attention to details with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of major ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross functionally.
Education & experience:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in an audit or accounting/finance role.
  • Good to have experience in public company reporting environment.
