Role Description

As a Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the FP&A team, who will be responsible for building strong business partner relationships with leaders of G&A organizations. This will be a highly visible role, partnering with organizational leaders to optimize decision making, leading the planning and forecasting cycles, and reporting on core financial metrics. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for designing the Infrastructure cost attribution model framework which will help facilitate one of the very critical reporting initiatives across the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving strategic initiatives, strong communication skills, deep analytical capabilities and a passion for process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Primary Finance business partner to Legal and Office of CEO teams. Responsible for driving monthly close & forecasting, quarterly Outlook and annual Planning process
  • Perform variance analyses and develop narratives to support Corporate FP&A team deliverables
  • Collaborate with other FP&A leaders to drive continuous scale and efficiency to our forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with senior leadership, bringing new thinking and ways of doing things to the function.  As appropriate, including analyzing and pushing new metrics and performance indicators to help identify trends.
  • In partnership with the Platform Infrastructure team, create the financial reporting and cost attribution framework to support P&L reviews by business unit and features
  • Develop and perform profitability analysis of all Dropbox products. Provide regular updates on our storage growth rate trends and GM% implications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA preferred
  • 6-8+ years of progressive , relevant experience in G&A or Infrastructure focused FP&A roles, Investment banking or Consulting. Background in SaaS Tech company strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience partnering with senior leadership both in a Finance and cross-functional capacity.  You are able to influence decisions at the highest level within a collaborative and team-centric culture.
  • Advanced modeling skills with the ability to swiftly and effectively translate ambiguity into succinct outputs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently to deliver accurate, high-quality outputs with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the following systems - Hyperion, Oracle, Tableau
  • Prior experience developing frameworks utilizing cost allocation methodologies
  • Experience building management reports and dashboards from scratch

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $143,800 - $169,200 - $194,600.• US Zone 2: $129,500 - $152,300 - $175,100.• US Zone 3: $115,100 - $135,400 - $155,700. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
