As an International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technologist, you will join a lean, fast-paced cross-functional team responsible for managing our International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance based in Berlin, supporting 17 engaged regions internationally. As part of your responsibilities as International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technologist you’ll collaboratively work to mitigate risk, drive standards and operational excellence, while ensuring the consumer gets safe and high quality ingredients.

• Partner with the international and country procurement teams to support the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality strategy for the category.
• Deliver strategic and innovative projects to ensure supply of safe and good quality products in all HelloFresh International regions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating the sharing of information and best practice across HelloFresh regions.
• Build effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively evaluate key risks within the category and establish methodologies for mitigation.
• Regularly analyze customer complaint trends in product quality and packaging to identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain through to HelloFresh customers.
• Conduct supplier and product onboarding ensuring compliance to HelloFresh requirements. 
• Conduct food safety and quality audits to the HelloFresh standard at supplier production sites.
• Support local teams with any high level serious customer complaint investigations or recalls.
• Coordinate the artwork approval process for the category.
• Creation of templates and procedures to support standardised implementation of central policies.
• Role-model our HelloFresh values and the International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance vision

• Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing / Assembly / Distribution / Retail, with more than 2 years experience in a relevant industry. 
• Internal and External Audit experience desirable
• Knowledge of relevant Government Food Regulations (UK/ Wider Europe)
• In depth knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP and COSHH
• CIEH Level 4 award in Food safety or relevant qualification
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Adept at data manipulation and analytics
• Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
• Embraces change, challenge and working in an autonomous way
• International experience desirable
• Excellent English skills required
