Gainsight Administrator

The Challenge
Reporting to the Director of GTM Systems, the Gainsight Administrator will play a pivotal role in the seamless and efficient execution of our customer success strategies within the Gainsight ecosystem. Under the guidance of a senior Gainsight Architect, this individual will be instrumental in implementing projects and enhancements, with a specific focus on Rules, Data Designer, Journey Orchestrator, User Management, and Data Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring Gainsight's capabilities, deploying changes, and maintaining system integrity. This role involves collaboration on projects, executing small enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and occasionally managing projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate a service-oriented attitude and a passion for leveraging Gainsight technology to drive customer success.
The Mission:
Gainsight Management and Optimization:
- Implement, maintain, and refine Gainsight configurations, including Rules, Data Designer, Journey Orchestrator, and User/Data Management, aligning with customer success goals.
- Collaborate with Gainsight Solution Architects to implement their designs, focusing on seamless module integration.
- Participate in requirements gathering, especially for clarifying or expanding initial needs.
Data and Access Integrity:
- Maintain data quality within Gainsight, adhering to data management best practices and ensuring system integrity.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions, guaranteeing secure and appropriate data access.
- Address and solve system issues in collaboration with various teams, maintaining optimal system performance.
Innovation and Efficiency:
- Stay informed about Gainsight updates, new features, and industry best practices, proactively suggesting and implementing enhancements to optimize the customer success journey.
- Lead or support initiatives to boost efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction within the Gainsight framework.
Support and Scalability:
- Develop and document scalable Gainsight configurations to accommodate growth and changing business requirements.
- Offer advanced Gainsight support, handling tasks, bugs, and user testing as necessary.
- Facilitate quality assurance and user acceptance testing for major updates, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
- Oversee release management, ensuring the effective rollout of updates and new functionalities in Gainsight.
You Are
An effective communicator who maintains positive working relationships with stakeholders, capable of translating internal customer requirements into scalable technical solutions. You design solutions that are efficient and do not compromise the system's performance or limits.
Your Experience Includes
- 1+ Years of experience in a Gainsight administration or similar role.
- General understanding and hands-on experience with Horizon Rules, Data Designer, Journey Orchestrator, User Management, and Data Management.
- Gainsight Level 2 Reports & Dashboards certification.
- Gainsight Level 2 Journey Orchestrator & Surveys certification.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and CPQ data structures and their integration with Gainsight.
- Proven ability in software troubleshooting and problem-solving.

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
