SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

Pure Storage is seeking a GenAI engineering intern! You'll be working on our Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) platform. You'll also spend time building the systems that ingest, process, organize and store data from a diverse collection of data sources. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field with an expected graduation date in or after December 2024
• Understanding of Large Language Models and its applications
• Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex frameworks
• Understanding of VectorDB and embeddings 
• Must be fluent in Python and Jupyter Notebooks
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix, AWS/S3, Apache Spark
• Previous machine learning internship experience preferred
• Able to work 12 consecutive weeks full-time during Summer 2024
• Must be willing and able to work in-person in an open office environment

The monthly base salary range is: $8,500 – $10,000. Salary ranges are determined based on academic degree at the time of offer extended. This role may be eligible for housing assistance and/or travel bonus.

You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
