The Role: Global Account Manager - FSI

We are looking for a hunter-minded and strategic sales expert to lead our FSI customer expansion, while also maintaining and expanding business with existing entities at our customers' headquarters. As a Global Account Manager (GAM), you will drive business growth within key banking and financial accounts. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-value global accounts, close large contracts, and accelerate market share in the financial services industry.

Your Impact:
  • Expand Pure Storage’s footprint by identifying and securing new revenue opportunities within large banking and financial institutions.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for key accounts.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing entities at customer headquarters.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging with C-level executives, technical stakeholders, and global decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, financial service providers, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and alignment.
  • Leverage market insights to develop tailored go-to-market strategies for banking, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, strategic account plans, and revenue-driving initiatives.
What You Bring:
  • Proven track record in enterprise/global account sales within the financial services industry (FSI).
  • Experience selling Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS), all-flash storage, cloud, and modern data infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability to hunt and grow strategic banking accounts, exceeding quota and revenue targets.
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles, managing RFPs, and closing large contracts (€5M-€10M+).
  • Strong ability to engage C-level executives, technology leaders, and global operations teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the banking ecosystem, including regulatory requirements, fintech trends, and digital transformation.
  • Fluency in French (native/bilingual) and English (professional-level).
