MongoDB is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Global Deal Strategy function. This position will play a key role in partnering with Sales with their deals and opportunities, helping drive efficiencies. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working with a first-class team in a high-growth environment and is relentless in their pursuit of excellence. 

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Singapore for our hybrid working model.

Responsibilities
  • Be a critical member of the global team that acts as a key enabler of deal formation and execution, focusing on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities
  • Assist with non-standard deal requests, driving cross-functional solution
  • Update key terms on quotes and review them to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Work with the global team to drive best practices to increase sales efficiency 
  • Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints and enforcement of standard business practices and policies
Requirements
  • Business degree
  • 3+ years of software industry experience (Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations experience preferred)
  • Experience in dealing with cross-functional deal management across sales, finance and legal
  • Experience in contract management would be an advantage
  • Clear and thoughtful verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel & Salesforce
