We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. (Note: this is not applicable for EpiSci roles).

About the role
  • Utilize engineering principles, knowledge, and experience to:
    • Define and manage the market strategy for Applied’s autonomous vehicle development, testing, and deployment.
    • Manage and maintain a quarterly and annual forecast across all business pillars.
    • Recruit and retain a global sales team to meet business goals with a multi-year plan to grow the team in accordance with business strategy.
    • Establish and maintain sales process and metrics to ensure performance of sales activities is met.
    • Collaborate with all business functions and departments to develop sales strategies and ensure business goals are met.
    • Report to the board of directors at quarterly board meetings on sales performance, sales strategy, and sales forecast.
    • Support the company in fundraising and investor pitches.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
  • 60 months of experience in a lead sales role on automotive accounts
  • 60 months of experience leading sales for automotive accounts, managing customer success and generating revenue growth, acquiring and retaining talent, and solving engineering challenges
  • Willingness to travel to Europe, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea 10 times per year
