Why We Have This Role

The global tech landscape is ever-evolving, and at Qualtrics, we're at the forefront of innovation. To attract, retain and engage the best talent in the market, we're building a best-in-class Total Rewards program. As our Senior Manager, Total Rewards, you'll lead a high-performing, global team of compensation, equity,  benefits, and total rewards specialists. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our end to end rewards strategy including Sales compensation, ensuring it's competitive, aligns with our business goals, and fosters a culture of engagement and high performance. This role reports directly to the Chief People Officer.

Things You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage a global team of compensation, equity, benefits, and total rewards analysts.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy that aligns with our business goals and talent acquisition objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits programs remain competitive in the market.
  • Recommend total rewards approaches in a private company context.
  • Advise on change management of total rewards from a public company context to private company context
  • Design and administer competitive salary structures, bonus plans, and stock options.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and communication of employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement savings, etc.).
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to ensure Total Rewards programs meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
  • Partner with the Chief People Officer to ensure all necessary materials are ready for People & Culture committee meetings and Board meetings.
  • Manage the Total Rewards budget and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits.

 

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Law, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MA, MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in compensation, equity, benefits, or total rewards within a global organization (ideally in the tech industry).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering total rewards in a private equity environment. 
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of private company compensation and benefits principles and practices.
  • Experience with variable compensation structures. 
  • Experience with conducting market research and salary surveys.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and total rewards software.
  • Global mindset and experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.

 

What You Should Know About This Team

  • Hybrid office environment with regular operating hours (3x per week required in office - 2 set by company, 1 set by the People team); however, flexibility to accommodate global time zones is necessary.
