About the team

This role is part of the Global Reward and People Operations team which is responsible for Rewards & Performance Management, our HRIS (Workday) as well as HR administration and payroll for all our entities in Europe and the US. Together with Talent Acquisition and Employee Excellence (HR) Business Partners, we form the Global Employee Excellence function. This means that you will not only be a member of the Syncron Warsaw team and develop and work with local processes and procedures but will also be exposed to the global world of Syncron and by that, take part in developing Syncron’s employee offering to the next level.

About the role

As an Employee Excellence Coordinator (formally)/Global HR Coordinator, you will guide our employees in US, Sweden, UK, Germany, Italy and France within the administrative HR area and will assist them and our managers through the full employment life cycle. The main responsibility is to coordinate the payroll for all our European entities (except Poland) and US, in close collaboration with our different external payroll partners. This means, that the ideal candidate would not only be a true people’s person but also being equipped with exceptional organizational skills as well as an analytical mindset as this HR role requires keeping track of multiple deadlines and being in contact with many external partners as well as preparing calculations, reconciliations, and summaries to be provided to different parts of the organization as well as external stakeholders.

Our office is located in Warsaw - if you can visit us from time to time, that would be great! However, fully remote option (in Poland) is possible as well for this position.

What would you do?
  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Daily employee administration (management of employment files and Workday updates)
  • Coordinating the payroll process with our external payroll partners in close to 10 countries
  • Managing absence (tracking and reporting of vacation days etc.)
  • Managing employee benefit, insurance & pension administration
  • Taking care of social security administration
  • Offboarding of leaving employees
  • Act as a main point of contact for employees, managers and EEBP in questions relating to payroll, time off etc.
What we expect:
  • At least 2 years of experience in employment administration area, preferably from a shared service type of role, covering multiple countries/legislations (experience supporting at least a few European countries)
  • Proficiency in working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of additional European languages would be beneficial
  • Ability to independently seek information
  • Very good communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Strong focus on problem-solving
  • Good sense of humor😊

  • Experience working with Workday is an advantage but not a prerequisite
