As a Global Record-to-Report (R2R) Team Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in leading the accounting operations for Inventories, Fixed Assets, Intercompany transactions, as well as all period-end closing activities for the 35+ entities across the globe ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and business relevance of the processes as well as compliance with IFRS and any relevant local GAAP rules. You will be driving process improvements, automation and technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Core markets we are servicing cover Western Europe (i.e. Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, etc.), UK, Brazil and LatAm, USA and Australia. We are working in close collaboration with Controlling and FP&A teams, Treasury, Tax, Supply Chain and Logistics, Hardware projects and People Ops teams. 

What You’ll Do

As our Records to Report (R2R) Team Leader based in Sofia, you will play a key role in shaping the accuracy and efficiency of our global Record to Report team. This is a leadership role with significant impact, where you will be trusted to not only run the core closing processes but also shape the way our finance organization operates in the future.

  • Lead with Accountability Take ownership of a high-performing global team across Sofia, São Paulo, and Santiago. You will set priorities, align them with business objectives, and hold the team accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes. You’ll be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, feedback, and trust, ensuring your people feel both challenged and supported in their careers.
  • Guarantee Reliable Financials You will be directly accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of our month-end closing, including inventories, non-current assets, intercompany reconciliations, payroll, FX valuation, and other critical areas. By enforcing strong controls, IFRS compliance, and robust reconciliation practices, you will ensure that management and stakeholders can rely on the numbers to make strategic decisions.
  • Shape Processes & Scale Impact Beyond execution, you will design and standardize scalable R2R processes for new entities and business streams. You’ll lead initiatives that automate manual work, enhance reporting structures, and simplify reconciliations — driving measurable efficiency gains across regions.
  • Strengthen External & Internal TrustYou will work proactively with business and finance leaders across the organization, becoming a trusted partner in resolving complex transactions and aligning accounting practices with business needs. You will also act as a point of contact for auditors, ensuring readiness, transparency, and the timely completion of their requests.
  • Champion Modern Finance You will equip your team with collaboration and AI-driven tools (Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, Gemini, Dust, and more) to boost productivity, accuracy, and insight generation. By embedding technology and data into everyday work, you will position the R2R team to scale and deliver continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to leave a visible contribution to the global finance organization: shaping processes, influencing outcomes, and ensuring that every decision is backed by accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting.

You’ll be great for this role if: 

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree (BA) or Master in Accounting or another Finance-related field 
  • You have obtained ACCA, CIMA or other relevant certification.
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in Finance in roles with growing responsibilities.
  • Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing and engaging high-performing teams 
  • You have gained a deep and practical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and process integrity.
  • You are experienced in applying IFRS/GAAP frameworks to complex and judgment-based transactions, and confident in assessing how business changes impact financial statements and disclosures.
  • You have prior experience in a listed company environment
  • You have prior experience in financial reporting in the financial services sector.
  • You are fluent in English
