We're looking for a talented, accomplished graphic designer who is passionate about graphic designing and believes that graphic design is a visual form of storytelling that can engage, inspire, and inform learners. An artist who is driven to innovate design as we build and transform how we train and develop our sales employees (Pre-Sales, Sales, System Engineers, Partner Sales, and Channel Partners).  The right candidate is exceptionally creative, driven, not afraid to roll-up their sleeves, and has demonstrated an ability to solve real customer challenges and revolutionize the way people learn. This individual will need to be self-motivated, highly conceptual, willing to learn, receptive to feedback, and have what it takes to challenge the status-quo.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Understanding the scope of a project and creating visual briefs.
  • Working with instructional designers and sales and technical curriculum developers (India and US) to conceptualize graphics and designs based on project requirements.
  • Designing and developing graphics and layouts that are in line with the Pure Storage brand guidelines and graphics standards.
  • Developing logos, illustrations, and other graphic designs by using Google Slides, InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Building courseware, designing presentations using Google slides, and video storyboard templates in Google Slides or InDesign.
  • Making graphic design recommendations to enhance the visual appeal of videos, storyboards, and presentations.
  • Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material as well as font style and size.
  • Understanding branding and marketing, and being able to find appropriate style, theme, and layout for every project.
  • Testing graphics and outputs on various output platforms.
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple simultaneous project requirements, with a demonstrated ability to deliver on projects within project timelines.
  • Implementing review feedback by stakeholders, SMEs, curriculum developers, and design managers to ensure high quality standards of deliverables.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or Digital Media (or similar). 
  • HTML knowledge and 2D/3D animation skills would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of graphic design experience with meticulous detail-orientation.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and elements of Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Inkscape.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Experience supporting a variety of training modalities, including on-demand (eLearning), live virtual and in-person experiences, peer-to-peer learning, and other learning delivery formats.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Ability to share ideas, promote innovation, and contribute to a collaborative effort across teams and departments.
  • Willingness to drive creative design initiatives with a focus to consciously adopt and use Pure Storage brand and guidelines.
  • Expert knowledge of current design software and skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.
  • Working independently and also collaborating with different teams on simultaneous projects.
  • You will be based in Bangalore, Karnataka. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
