About the team and the roleAs a Group Controller you will be working in Syncron Global Finance Team based in Warsaw. It is a unique opportunity to join fast growing SaaS company. Group Controller is an independent role in Controlling / Financial Planning functions, reporting primarily to VP Controlling. You will have an excellent possibility to join a growing company, in which you will have direct impact on business decisions & will be given the possibility to build new analysis/reports/dashboards/processes (with various technologies).
Your daily tasks will focus on rigorous quantitative analysis for management accounting (financial accounting, budgeting, headcount-related and other financial and non-financial data), in collaboration within the FP&A team and senior management.
In that role, you will be working closely with VP Controlling, as well as be the business partner to senior management, in particular 2 to 3 members of the Extended Group Management Team.
What would you do?- Partnering with the global senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives
- Providing financial and non-financial analysis and insight to support decision-making and drive performance in specific areas of the business
- Identifying and managing risks, and ensuring transparency in financial reporting
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and providing insight into the financial health of the company
- Supporting strategic initiatives with topline or bottom line impact
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and suppliers
- Building and implementing processes, reports and systems to ensure timely and accurate financial and non-financial reporting and transparency
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in controlling/FP&A, with experience in a business partnering or consulting role
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience in providing financial analysis and insight to support decision-making in a business setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work closely with senior management and support them with their respective areas
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, physics, or mathematics, computer science, or related fields
- Proven experience in building and implementing financial processes, reports to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency
- Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong understanding of SaaS business models and financial metrics
- Previous experience with using and implementing BI tools
- CIMA / ACCA or equivalent certification
