The Role

Help us grow! We’re looking for a talented, results-oriented Growth Marketing Executive, someone with a keen eye for paid social media and who appreciates creator generated content. We want you to help us grow our presence in mid-funnel and convert social users into active customers. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team across performance marketing channels, conversion to bring in new customers to Monzo.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary growth marketing team, working across all performance marketing channels, whilst collaborating with our data team, our marketing engineers, our product marketers, writers, creative teams, and external agencies to help us take Monzo into our next phase of growth.

We’re looking for someone special, who has experience in delivering viral social creative, and highly performing campaigns via our in-house social media channels such as YoutTube, TikTok, Snap and Meta - all with a laser sharp focus on user generated content to maximise conversions. Our growth goals are ambitious, fuelled by both word of mouth and paid marketing campaigns, so you’ll have the opportunity to dip your toes into other areas like Affiliates and Paid Search. You will be owning the growth of specific performance marketing channels like TikTok, Affiliates, Reddit and Meta.

You will be reporting into the Senior Growth Marketing Manager to ensure that the strategy for your performance marketing channels for both consideration and conversion campaigns are bullet proof. 

Some of the things you’ll be working on:

  • Developing a short, mid and long term strategy for high potential and performing channels such as TikTok, Reddit & Meta. 
  • Set up, optimise, analyse and report on our Paid Social activity.
  • Contribute to a successful Paid Social strategy for the channels you own.
  • Define the A/B testing process across creative, messaging and optimisation. tactics for both prospecting and remarketing campaigns with Growth Managers for their relevant products.
  • Test new campaigns with a focus on CPA and broader marketing measurement in the context of the overall funnel.
  • Work tightly with our Product Marketing Team and Creative Teams to deliver high performance advertising, grounded around user insights and data.
  • Work on both conversion and engagement campaigns and ensure a closely knit channel strategy whilst maintaining cross channel consistency through close collaboration with the team.

  • Take a ‘test and learn’ approach and love agile ways of working.
  • Have run successful Paid Social acquisition campaigns for a fast-growing business - preferably in financial services.
  • Be a subject matter expert in the biggest social platforms inside and out – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snap, and others.
  • Like to use data to tell a story about performance and understand how our customers engage with us.

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves three main stages: 

  • Recruiter Call (30mins)
  • Initial Call (30 mins)
  • Take Home Task (to be completed within 7 days)
  • x2 final interviews via Google Meet (x2 45 minutes)

Our average process takes around 2-3 weeks but we will always work around your availability.
