Senior Paid Social Analyst (Growth Marketing team)

Wayfair’s Growth Marketing team is responsible for driving multi-million dollar campaigns aimed at growing dominance in the online home furniture and décor space. Through mathematical analysis and a test and learn approach, we strive to enhance every strategy and decision that affects a consumer shopping experience.

In this role you will be a part of our Paid Social (Meta - Facebook & Instagram) channel and will be critical to understanding what motivates customer behavior across the channel. As such, you will drive experimentation, decision-making, and implementation of Wayfair's growth engine. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of, and manage a multi-million dollar Paid Social marketing channel for our Standalone Brands (SRBs) - AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main. Drive the overarching strategy, hands-on execution, and performance analysis of the channel to achieve growth targets
  • Assume a leadership role within the team, working closely with an L1 colleague, providing guidance, mentorship, and assuming responsibility for collective team outcomes and growth
  • Utilize and enhance our advanced in-house measurement capabilities to deeply understand the impact of each marketing campaign. Co-create and innovate measurement techniques to maximize ROI
  • Lead the complete process of developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns for SRBs on Meta's platforms. Responsibilities include advanced targeting, crafting sophisticated creative strategies, comprehensive efficiency evaluation, and sharing in-depth insights and learnings with relevant teams
  • Apply an advanced and methodical approach to test-and-learn strategies within the Paid Social channel. Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to refine targeting solutions and improve overall channel performance
  • Work seamlessly with Data Science, MarTech, Creative, and Business Intelligence teams to effectively plan, launch, and assess the impact of Meta campaigns for SRBs
  • Partner with internal tech stakeholders to explore opportunities for automation. Act as a liaison between the marketing and tech teams to ensure marketing needs are integrated into tech development plans
  • Work closely with Meta to leverage their platforms effectively. Facilitate relationships and communications to align their capabilities with Wayfair’s marketing goals

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, computer science, math, data analytics, etc.) with a strong academic background
  • 2+ years of experience in an analyst role, preferably with experience in marketing, tech startups, finance, consulting, or strategy
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills
  • Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, Google BigQuery), and familiarity with visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Familiarity in utilizing analysis tools (e.g., Python, R-Studio) for in-depth data analysis
  • An organized, structured, and process-oriented mindset with proven ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication and data presentation/visualization skills to effectively communicate complex insights and key findings to stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and independent execution skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire for collective success

 

Note - This is a hybrid role based out of our Boston office (4 days/week in office, 1 day/week remote)
