About the job

We are seeking an experienced senior videographer/video editor. This role combines technical and creative skills to create engaging video content that enables our sales teams to be more effective.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Focus on all aspects of video production – planning, directing, filming, developing, and editing to produce training videos for sellers 
  • Primary focus is to develop engaging videos for sales enablement training programs
  • Identify strategy for production, post-production, and delivery resources necessary to capture, edit, and produce video content 
  • Assess target audience business needs to determine appropriate messaging. 
  • Collaborate with requesters on creative approaches to projects involving abstract or technical content to meet objectives: articulating the production process and expectations, communicating issues, providing status updates, and suggesting appropriate methods for improvement.
  • Coaching to encourage speakers to relax and appear natural when communicating with their audience
  • Ensure all media content adheres to Twilio Branding. This includes on the set when capturing videos and in post-production when adding graphics, animations, etc.

Required:

  • Strong experience with video editing tools specifically Camtasia and Adobe products
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent
  • Typically 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level
  • Post-graduate and/or certification preferred 
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in job

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $102,160 - $127,700.
  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $120,160 - $150,200.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $108,160 - $135,200.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
