THE JOURNEY

  • Develop and implement a unified and coherent Corporate Affairs strategy for Poland and contribute to the global strategy. 
  • Work with consultancies and other sources to ensure a clear understanding of the opportunities and risks facing Glovo in Poland.
  • Coordinate with other teams (Marketing, Legal, Ops, etc.) to ensure that the biggest risks & opportunities have clear cross-departmental strategies and plans. 
  • Deliver strong analysis of the stakeholder environment and manage Glovo’s relationship with key stakeholders in the regulatory, policy administrative and social spheres, contributing to policy debates as per the strategy.
  • Advocate for I&S within the leadership team to ensure integration of social impact & sustainability programs in the different areas of the company. 
  • Own all external communication strategies in Poland with the goal to increase overall brand awareness, reputation and support business growth.
  • Lead day to day communications task & initiatives 
  • Coordinate the creation & execution of a detailed yearly calendar with key campaigns & events based on the company business & impact & sustainability & comms objectives 
  • Ensure coherence of messages and actions in all Glovo media relations and create and maintain a fluent relationship with journalists interested in Glovo and the tech sector.
  • Analyze PR and social media campaign metrics and measure success
  • Ensure Glovo’s communications are aligned with the company’s purpose, vision and mission.
  • Comms crisis management when/if needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 5+ years experience working in public relations, PA, corporate communications, strategic media relations or issues management (agency or in-house). Experience leading Impact & Sustainability projects is a plus.
  • Strategic and analytical skills to define and execute corporate affairs strategies
  • Leadership abilities, able to convince people about the merits of your arguments, and to manage members of the team.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, issues management and crisis management. Comfortable defining and working with key PR, Sustainability and Public Affairs  metrics.
  • Public advocacy skills and promoting changes in regulations that have a direct impact on the company's current operations.
  • Experience defining a company’s narrative and ability to develop media strategies to maximize impact and coverage across multiple channels.
  • Strategic experience of company relations beyond pure media and PR channels, including strategic overview of social media 
  • Understanding and experience in coordinating projects in the field of sustainable development and social impact as part of the company's business model.
  • Experience in coordinating social media activities (instagram & tik tok focused)
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
  • Social and interpersonal communications skills. Team Player.
