About the roleWe are looking for an experienced national security executive to lead Applied Intuition’s defense business in the United Kingdom and Europe. The manager will drive business development, manage business operations, and identify new business opportunities in the defense space. This role has 3 main parts: 1) planning and executing business development for Autonomy, Robotics, AI, and Automation for defense customers, 2) assisting with defense business strategy planning and operations, and 3) understanding customer requirements and translating them to Product and Engineering teams.
You will report to our General Manager-Government and partner cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This is a uniquely strategic and operational role with a mix of both internal and external-facing responsibilities. At Applied Intuition, you will:- Establish relationships with partner defense prime contractors, defense program offices, and other relevant government defense organizations. Maintain a high level of customer intimacy within these communities
- Develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in CRM
- Capture new business in alignment with Applied’s technical expertise and defense strategic roadmap
- Assist with development of detailed annual defense business development plans
- Coordinate, lead, and support proposal activities
- Be willing to wear many hats and execute with a “can-do” attitude
- 5+ years experience in the defense ecosystem – Industry, Service, Joint, or Head Office – doing business development, or a related role
- Desired: experience with Autonomy, Automation, or Artificial Intelligence technologies and their applications to National Security and defense
The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
