The Role

The Regional Head of People Operations ANZ is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the People Operations function across our Distribution Centres across ANZ in Perth, Sydney and Auckland. This role ensures alignment of HR strategies with business goals while enhancing employee experience and driving HR operational excellence. The individual will lead a team of People Operations professionals, including HRBPs, HR Advisors & Administrators to deliver seamless People business partnering and implement effective People programs. 

This position reports directly to Sr. Director of People Operations International.

You will…

Strategic Leadership:

  • Align People Ops strategy with HelloFresh Group’s business goals.
  • Advise senior leaders on talent, change, and succession planning.
  • Lead HR initiatives like pay reviews and talent management.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee HR operations across the employee life cycle.
  • Resolve complex HR and ER issues in partnership with other teams.
  • Drive adoption and improvement of People Tech applications.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage and mentor the HR team, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Encourage up-skilling and development for future challenges.
  • Model organisational values and HelloFresh Group DNA.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to create tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects.
  • Share market trends and best practices to enhance HR capabilities.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Use analytics to guide workforce planning and productivity.
  • Measure success with People metrics and identify improvement areas.

You have/are…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of HR experience with a focus on strategic business partnering, preferably within an operational or warehouse environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and developing HR teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and regulations across the region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing HR operations across multiple geographies.
  • Proven expertise in managing HR projects across the entire employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
  • Strong ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to use data to generate insights and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • A proactive leader who embraces innovation and drives change.
  • Ability to travel within Australia to HelloFresh DC based in Perth and to Auckland, New Zealand quarterly or on a need to basis.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

Travel: You must have the right to travel to New Zealand
