As our Head of Inbound Sales, you’ll be responsible for driving SumUp's Sales Strategy across the UK&IE markets. You'll manage and develop our inbound and outbound telesales/ growth account management (upselling/cross-selling) teams and be a key player in helping us achieve our growth goals.

What you'll do

  • Lead and nurture the existing UK Inbound Sales team
  • Launch new Sales motions that can use similar capabilities, such as outbound telesales and growth account management / upsells to existing merchants via telephone sales
  • Identify the main priorities of the Sales team in line with the 2024 Sales Budget/Plan and take over the execution
  • Define and implement key strategic initiatives to accelerate growth while improving efficiency
  • Analyse, structuring and optimisation tools, internal processes and the productivity of the sales teams
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding of newly acquired merchants and retention of existing merchants.

You'll be great for this position if 

  • You have a Commercial background and Leadership experience, developing teams and navigating through change in large sales organisations
  • You have experience in SMEs related industries such as payments, hospitality, travel, etc.
  • You have great analytical skills and strong business acumen
  • You’re self-driven, proactive, pragmatic and have a can-do attitude
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, taking a broad and long term perspective to identify solutions.
