Head of People Technology

We are looking for an experienced Head of People Technology with extensive knowledge of Workday and preferably ServiceNow to lead a team of analysts and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our landscape of HR technologies. You will have a background in HR operations and experience leveraging technology to drive employee experience. You will report to Deliveroo's VP HR and, as this is a hybrid role, you will be based in our London HQ for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop the People Technology strategy through the development of a comprehensive roadmap. Collaborate with People and Enterprise Technology leadership to identify opportunities to leverage HR technology to drive efficiency, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Workday Optimisation and Maintenance: Lead the optimisation and ongoing maintenance of Workday, implementing additional modules and ensuring that the system meets the organisation's HR and business needs. 
  • Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Workday with other HR systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users to maximise the utilisation of Workday's features and functionality.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that Workday configurations and processes comply with data security and privacy regulations, and internal policies.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with Workday representatives and other HR technology vendors to address system issues, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Utilise Workday's reporting and analytics capabilities to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making within the HR department and across the organisation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the use of Workday and other HR technologies.
  • You will manage a team of two Analysts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with Workday, including implementation, configuration, and ongoing management.
  • Experience with HR processes and best practices, with a focus on how technology can support and enhance these processes.
  • Experience leading HR technology projects, including system upgrades and integrations.
  • You will have excellent communication and influencing skills to collaborate with HR partners, ET teams, and external vendors and be able to navigate complex matrix structures.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations related to HR systems and employee data.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and process improvement.
  • You will have experience managing a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday certification or specific training in Workday configuration and administration.
  • Experience with other HR technologies and systems, such as applicant tracking systems, performance management tools, and payroll systems.
