About the role:

We’re looking for a Hiring Coordinator to join the Customer Operations Hiring team within the People Collective. You’ll be supporting our growth by going the extra mile so that every candidate feels valued and respected, and moving mountains in the background to make sure onboarding into Monzo is an effortless and delightful process. 

Your day-to-day   

A large proportion of your role will be coordinating pre-onboarding verification checks of external new starters in a high volume capacity:

  • You’ll be based in either our London or Cardiff office in order to complete in person- right to work checks
  • Conducting all onboarding admin for new hires and adding them to our internal systems & monitoring background checks 
  • Contacting candidates for outstanding or supporting documentation 
  • Working with our 3rd party provider to ensure screenings are completed within service level agreements 
  • Working with People Operations, TechOps & other support teams to ensure everything is set up for the new hires’ first day
  • Working on projects to make all of our hiring and people processes run like clockwork
  • Support Recruiters as and where necessary with tasks such as CV screening and interview scheduling

You should apply if:

  • You have experience in a highly operational / coordination role
  • You’re highly organised with great attention to detail
  • You’re a great communicator, both in person and in writing.
  • You have experience working with lots stakeholders (internal & external), and adapting your working style to suit their needs
  • You have experience of working on lots of different requests & tasks at the same time, and are able to prioritise the most important things
  • You're comfortable dealing with shifting priorities and adaptable when things change

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves 3 main stages: 

  • Initial call with Hiring Manager (30 mins)
  • Role Specific Interview (1 hour)
  • Values Interview (1 hour)
